Windy Ridge Farm was established in 1973 and is
owned by Paul and Nancy Kunkel. It is located in
Bedford, KY.
Our goal is to raise quality western pleasure
prospects at very affordable prices.
We have over the years put together an outstanding
broodmare band. They have been point earners and
show producers. They are own daughters of Zippo Pine
Bar, Impulsions, Zippos Mr Good Bar, Principle
Investment, Vested Pine, Don't Skip Zip, Radical
Rodder, Southern Pleasure, Speedy Red Roan and Zips
Chocolate Chip. The maternal side of most of these
mares carry the Speedy Glow bloodlines.
These mares have produced congress winners, world
show qualifiers, multiple futurity winners and many,
many point earners.
We breed to proven studs such as Zippos Mr Good Bar,
One Hot Krysum, Willie Be Invited, Good Version,
Good Time To Shine, Gucci Only and others.
Windy Ridge Quarter Horses is home to Chips Cookie
Monster, a son of Zips Chocolate Chip. and out
of a Shy Prescription, Speedy Glow mare. Our
goal is to breed sane, sound pleasure prospects,
that carry the most successful, proven pedigrees,
and to market them at affordable prices.
We have something for all levels of competition and
